ENVIRONMENT AND HUMAN FRIENDLY PAINTS

The paints that we use are water-borne, based on alkyd and acrylic resins, protective against ultraviolet rays, water resistant and have the property of letting the moisture in the wood permeate (breathing). These paints are easily dissolved in nature.

Painting has a special importance in Arbor. Our products are subjected to a special surface treatment before painting. For the painting process which is definitive on the appearance of finished product, a very advanced, dust proof, moisture and heat controlled, automatically flowing line is used. This system ensures painting at homogeneous thicknesses and free of foreign particles on the entire product surface. Therefore Arbor products exhibit furniture like appearances while preserving the naturalness of solid wood. The advantage of rounded edges on profiles is the equal distribution of paint on the surface and hence smooth looks. All surface treatments are applied to the entire surface in a standardized and smooth way, equally on the automatic band.

The surface treatment materials that Arbor uses diffuse into the body of wood and provide protection against pests and bacteria for years. Since the paints used in Arbor products are flexible, they do not resist the natural movements within wood and by this way they do prevent paint cracks which will otherwise cause moisture and bacterial attacks on wood surface. The paints that we use also protect wood from the damaging solar effects.

All color alternatives offered to customers allow that the color of windows and doors may be the same and thus an overall harmony of color may be achieved both at the interior and exterior spaces without compromising functionality.
