Our standard wood species, Oak, Spruce and Meranti differ from each other by their distinct textures.

Tropical trees, since they receive rain throughout the whole year, do not have age rings as other trees do. We use Dark Red Meranti because of its superior properties. It gains the looks of Mahogany, Teak or Iroko under proper colors with its tropical texture.

Norwegian Spruce, with its familiar texture, fits the typical impression of wood for most of us. Even though it has lower density, it is an interesting wood having the performance at the level of higher density trees. Under suitable colors, it appeals to many different tastes from modern or rustic.

American Oak, differs from others by its distinguished grains. Solid oak has a powerful effect that catches the eye at any place it is used. It creates a strong ambiance contributing to modern or classical architecture, under different paints and especially by our unique "Antique Surface" application. Aged surfaces are obtained by a special process used only by Arbor on windows and doors. An antique appearance is created by increasing texture depth on the wood surface with a special technique that emphasizes the perception of naturalness together with antiquity.
